Summary
Obviously, Carmen knows how to vanish without a trace - she’s great at disappearing, whether it be into a crowd or into thin air. It’s an excellent thing to have an aptitude for in her line of work, but it’s a little less convenient for Julia. When she isn’t being hyperaware of her every movement and the details of her surroundings, Julia tends to just… lose track of her.
Clearly, she needs a solution, and so she comes up with an easy one.
Hold Carmen’s hand.

Argent stared at him, startled from her misery by the abruptness of the question.
“Sir?”
“This cad who has left you in such a sorry state.” He shoved the bag into her hands as he got back into his seat. “Surely he has a name, no?”

peeling her fingers off his wrist, shadowsan glances at her in mild amusement. “can you not guess who?”
he’s smiling. shadowsan is smiling because of this mysterious person that had somehow solved the mystery of her mother and wrapped it all up in a neat little present for her.
“jules,” she speaks aloud, gathering her thoughts. she can’t help the grin stretching on her face, the awe in her voice. “i should’ve known.”
