It isn't a daily occurrence to meet a friend in a mysterious abandoned building that the locals specifically stay away from, so it was only natural for him to make assumptions. Save for the fact that they vividly remember the cassette tapes and their name plastered on a burnt newspaper he secretly found near an extinguished bonfire.
EMF at 1, no freezing temperatures, opaque photos. He battles with himself trying to convince whether you're real or not, surely ghosts don't change clothes daily, nor are they scared of spiders.
Besides he has this other shadow haunting him that he needs to focus on.
