OR, Mia breaks her wrist and her parents draw on her cast. No one is a very good artist but they're doing their best. A new species is invented. Mia loves dinosaurs.

“Well, this one wasn’t particularly nice, I’m afraid.” He told her, wrapping his arm back around her waist and pulling her across the small space between them until they were chest to chest.
“Yeah?” She asked nervously, tilting her head in practiced curiosity. “What happened?”
But Rose didn’t need him to tell her what had happened because she’d been there.
