Summary
After waking up in what may of may not be a coffin, Link decides to save the world because a voice in his head told him so. He fights a bokoblin, flees from a chu chu and decides to never use remote bombs ever again. The road to Hyrule Castle is long and filled with dangers. He is going to need all the help he can get and on the way he meets friends, enemies, and perhaps, people who are both.

Because BotW is an open world game, just copying it down would be boring. Searching for koroks hours on end may be fun gameplay (debatable) but it does not make for a good novel. As such, many things have been changed. For example, weapons aren't made out of glass, the Sheikah Slate's map is broken at the beginning and it cannot store huge amounts of everything, and character interractions may be a little different too.
And, of course, SPOILERS for the entirety of Breath of the Wild. Additionally, I started and plotted this story before ToTK was released so just ignore that game all together.
