    Eddie was already out on the sidewalk, heading toward The Chronicle building when he took his first sip of coffee. The rush of caffeine had him sighing with pleasure and he heard a faint tinkling sound from behind him. It was a little late for Salvation Army Santas to still be out but Eddie wouldn’t put it past them. He hated the sound of those fucking bells, though.
