Summary
The Dark Curse has been cast, bringing with it surprises all round, not least for the Evil Queen who doesn't know how to handle a woman she had been told was dead. But soon it's clear to all the major players that things aren't happening quite how they'd planned, and this so-called Saviour isn't as effective as they had hoped she'd be.
Part Two of a series, I would recommend reading 'A Shift in Power' first if you haven't already, or this will not make much sense at all :)

Regina first hears the name when she is a child, 6 (and a half!, she insists) and old enough to ride a horse for the first time.
Mother is stomping down the long hallway with her 'angry face', muttering about 'Eva' and Regina asks "Who's that?" Mother turns and Regina flinches and dashes through the door, but she realises her speed didn't allow her to escape punishment. Daddy must have heard about Regina's insolence, because he comes by later to tell her to never mention this 'Eva' again.
That is when she realises the name is a Danger.

It had been about 5 months since 'The Trigger', 5 months since Lacey had refused to drink that potion. She wonders if this is a wise choice, but she knows this place will always shun her. So she fetches paper and a pen too, and begins to write her suicide note.
Some brief references to suicide, if that's a trigger for anyone. I don't mean to be insensitive in writing this.
