Summary
My take on what if Élise survived the encounter with Germain.
Years have passed since she and Arno fled to the countryside, raising a family together in a fleeting peace between wars. But the world has not let them go, particularly a certain rising military officer by the name of Napoleon, who recognizes both of their respective uses for his plans.
Now 1807, the French Empire reigns supreme under his rule and the Assassins have all but been eradicated from Paris. Under the newly-crowned Emperor's service, Élise has ruthlessly cemented her power as Grand Master of the French Templar Rite, but not all within the fractured Order approve of her rule. Arno, on the other hand, has vanished for the last year on a secret mission in Napoleon's service and is now presumed dead.
But not everyone is willing to accept that fate—not Margot, their sixteen-year-old daughter, who has begun operating in secret against her mother’s wishes. Unwilling to be a pawn of the Templars, yet unable to ignore the growing unrest in the Empire, Margot follows whispers of treachery within her mother’s ranks, only to find herself drawn into a conspiracy that could shake the foundations of France itself.

When V agreed to join Panam and the Aldecados on their journey east following the events at Arasaka Tower, he finally believed the time had come to put Night City behind him for good. Little did the former Corpo realize, they weren't quite done with him yet.
A fun story concept I decided to dabble with set after The Star Ending, including elements/characters from the upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion.
For obvious reasons, the storyline in itself is intended to be of my own design. But as this is a side project I am focused on purely for the sake of my own (and hopefully your) entertainment, feel free to leave critiques! Expect a thriller with an endless supply of conflict, intrigue, world-building and fuck it, some romance.
