Summary
In which ‘The Black Phone’ is set in Lenora California and the Byers family happens to run into some of them. Will gains a surprised liking for one of the quieter, shy boys, Finney Blake. Will feels oddly drawn to Finney, even more than Mike. It was something about the way he looked, carried himself, the way he talked even. It all appealed to Will. Opposites attract but similarity attracts even more.
I wrote this because I LOVE the idea of finney/will but NO ONE writes them romantically which is unfortunate because they have so much potential. Also the grabber is in this but he takes different kids instead of the main cast. The upside down exists and everything in stranger things still mostly happens. (It’s a kinda fix it au for the black phone ONLY).

Summary

Due to your prideful and people pleasing tendencies, you agree to tutor for students in regular placement English classes for your favorite English teacher Mr. Curran, unfortunately you truly are not the best tutor option this year, you had been successful your freshman year, but with so much on your plate, you are close to having a full blown breakdown, and Percy is your student, reluctant to give any of your teachings a try, the pairing is barely hanging on by a thread, given only a few chances to prove they can work without biting eachothers heads off. Through their troubles, and a few outbursts from you, the two begin to learn they may have more in common than they thought.
