Summary
For years Annabeth Chase had always just been someone Percy Jackson noticed in the high school hallways. Someone he had only spoken to a handful of times. Someone who always existed just outside of his life. Someone noticeable. Someone who would never, ever notice him. Never even talk to him unless it was absolutely necessary to do so. No way. Couldn't happen. Right?
Wrong!
Or, alternatively, to set the stage, Percy is entering his junior year of high school and the very girl he only ever really saw from a distance, Annabeth, is suddenly not so distant. She's sat in the seat right in front of him in his first period class.

Summary
A lot of this is going to be me trying to rewrite my own version of some of CombatTambot and IISleepWalkerII's chapters and plot so I am just saying early on that large portion of credit will go to them and everyone should go read their works before mine because they are excellent.
Percy Jackson, a son of Neptune, is taken from his mother at age three and raised by Lupa to become a weapon worthy of Rome. As he grows within the brutal world of Camp Jupiter, Roman politics, prophecy, and loyalty shape him into a warrior whose destiny threatens to reshape New Rome itself. Along the way he forges alliances, rivals, and an eventual bond with Reyna that changes not only their lives but also the future of the legion and Rome.
