Dabi brings the kid around again towards the middle of March, when the weather is just starting to soften into something a little less biting. It’s a deliberate choice this time, but he still doesn’t give any forewarning because he’s an asshole and it’s honestly kind of funny to see them flounder about a kid that doesn’t even reach their knees on his tiptoes.
The most wanted villains in the world brought down by an irrational fear of Dabi’s goofy-ass toddler. How humiliating.

Summary
It takes a while for them to reach a new sense of normalcy. Touya’s short an arm and a leg. Keigo, still, lacks much identity outside of work, even with his quirk gone. There’s people working on it - doctors, scientists, and at least one team of genuine crackpots - but everything’s experimental. Theoretical. Clinical trials hidden under the guise of steroid treatments or physical therapy or whatever other excuse Keigo gives him for why he’s home so late that night, but Touya isn’t stupid. He’s, also, a lot less full of rage than he used to be, so he’s gotten better at ignoring it, this innate desire Keigo has to kill himself just to be worth something. Everyone heals at their own pace. Touya’s pace just happens to be faster.
