“This job is all I have. I need the money. It’s… it’s just me. I have no parents, Ji-chan is dead.” Yuji felt his eyes burn, and he cursed inwardly. “I just need to work here until I graduate. Please. I’ll do anything.”
An unreadable expression flashed through Gojo’s bright blue eyes, but it was gone before Yuji could analyze what it was. Gojo leaned closer to him, and Yuji felt the urge to back up but forced himself to stand his ground. The last thing he wanted was to look like a scared kid.
“Anything?” Gojo repeated, his voice an octave lower. “Do you really mean that, Yuji-kun?”
Yuji is fired from his job working at a pachinko parlor by his boss that he just met. Thankfully, said boss has another position he can fill.

Up. He had to get up. Air wheezed from his lungs when he tried to curl forward to lift himself, splashing back into the wetness he had been laying in. Trying once more, rolling sideways instead, so he could at least get his arms underneath him. It took another few tries to get his feet on the ground, staggering the moment he began to stand and falling sideways back into the blood that coated the floor.
His mouth didn't seem to want to work properly, words coming out mumbled and slurred. "Kuna, lemme sleep."
"Not yet." The amusement in Sukuna's voice should have been warning enough, yet he could barely focus his mind enough to worry.
