Summary

Summary
“I killed your dad." Satoru blurts.
He's not sure exactly why —
Well, he is sure why.
Geto Suguru is dead at his hands. The night parade of a hundred demons has been thwarted, and victory is in the hands of Jujustu Sorcerers once more. Rika is freed of her curse, Okkotsu Yuuta's execution has been finally rescinded.
But Geto Suguru is dead.
And Gojo Satoru killed him.
Megumi's ocean blue eyes had careened toward Satoru, standing in their living room with his soiled boots on and cuts on his knuckles because of Miguel's whip. He had a bowl in one hand, and a gallon of milk in the other. Satoru is sure he's going to eat cereal because why wouldn't he? He's home, in the home Satoru placed him in. The home he never got to have because Zen'in Toji was a piece of shit and so was Tsumiki's mother and because Satoru killed him—
"Okay." Megumi says.
—
Or, Satoru is a grieving idiot.

Megumi is used to being told that he is cursed. That would at least help explain why everyone ends up leaving.
But if he really was cursed, then why is Gojo still here? Why should he, of all people, care about a curse?

Summary
It's April 2009. Gojo Satoru was on the brink of change, all charged to catapult into a new horizon of the world in the aftermath his devastating life. But old wounds had a way of sinking into the bone, so he'll just have to carry those pains and endure the new ones.
OR
Master of growing apathy, Shoko still found a way to act surprised at his words. “So what, you’re like a dad now? That’s your plan after graduation?”
He scrunched up his nose. “I guess?”
Shoko’s laugh was as empty as her soul, as frail as the wisped out cigarette balanced precariously steadily between her fingers. Satoru tried not to read into the symbolism too much; it would do him no good to raise the strong on superstitions. “Good luck then, I guess.”
“Yeah,” he gazed off into the distance. “You too.”

Summary
The alley reeks of rain and blood, and on Gojo Satoru’s blindfold, the two are identical. He’s just won the fight of his life, just survived the only man who ever came close to killing him. The victory is supposed to feel absolute, but it dissolves the moment he sees him: a small boy with his father’s eyes and a face set in stone, standing over the body of the man Gojo just murdered.
His name is Megumi. He is six years old, and he is now an orphan. By Gojo’s hand.
In a split-second decision fueled by a guilt so profound it feels like a new cursed technique, Gojo takes the boy. And his sister. He drags them out of the only life they’ve ever known and into his own—a sterile, isolated existence defined by power and duty. He is the strongest, but he has no idea how to be a father. He is a teacher, but he doesn't know how to comfort a child who flinches from his touch. He is their savior, but he is also the monster who killed their father.
