    Inseparable childhood friends Midoriya and Bakugou always dreamed of together becoming Music Stars just like their favorite Rock Star All Might! Sadly, life had other plans for Midoriya and they drifted apart before high school.

    Bakugou attended the famous UA school and became a Rock star known as Dynamight!
    While Deku kept being just a normal, unknown person.

    Still, Deku was Dynamight's number-one fan! He goes to all concerts but never tries to talk to his old friend for fear Kacchan won't remember him... However, during a show one night, Bakugou locks eyes with Deku in the crowd. Dynamight's voice gains a previously unheard passion and he does not break eye contact with Deku. Maybe, just maybe, does his dear Kacchan still remember him after all those years...?

    Izuku watches him for a while.

    Katsuki refills a vodka tonic, swaps an empty glass for a fresh whiskey sour, pours a perfect old fashioned with the most beautiful orange peel twisted around the rim that the guy ordering barely even looks at, doesn’t even appreciate, before knocking back.

    He doesn’t talk much, Katsuki. Asks the necessary questions and gets to work. Doesn’t play therapist to the wallowing ones. He’s exceptionally efficient, good with his slender fingers, works a pairing knife and a shaker well. Stirs without spilling. He free pours the liquor, uses a little trick with his fingers tapping on his thigh to count the ounces.

    Izuku gets the impression he likes precision. Probably born that way. Too good at being perfect to accidentally be anything less.

    Mm. That sounds about right.

    Since losing One For All, Izuku's life has slowed to an aching pace. Adrenaline lies dormant in his veins, his days morph into one with a repetitive schedule.
    A singular variable makes these days less torturous: Kacchan.
    His care, his attention, their bond has been strengthened with tungsten, unable to be shattered.

    Izuku has given up on being a hero, yet Katsuki refuses to let Izuku's dream die.

    So, when granted with the opportunity to bring back One For All, Katsuki takes it.
