Summary
Patroclus wonders why, but he can't remember clearly what Achilles looked like.
It scares him to the core, so he draws him again and again. He draws him every night of every day of the week. Days turn into weeks turn into months, until he realizes that his very first painting doesn't look like his last; at all. And even his first looks nothing like Achilles did.
Patroclus can't believe this, he refuses to believe this. He fumbles all of his paintings, tries to cut this one painting's eyes, stick it onto this one, link the nose and the month of these ones. Anything, everything for him to find a semblance of resemblance with his memories.
But he can't, and this, more than anything else scares him to the deepest part of him.
It is in his fifteen life when he realizes Achilles is nothing more than a vague memory.

Summary
When he wakes up for the first time, he’s kind of dizzy. He can’t see anything around him and everything’s a little blurred.
But that’s not the first thing he notices.
When he woke up, he stirred away with the warmth of his memories. He can remember everything clearly, something that hadn’t happened for a long time. Perhaps it was so long ago he can’t even remember it that well— but now he can.
And he can remember Yoo Joonghyuk. He can recall the warmth of his hands. The countless wounds he got from fighting stars and incarnations alike. His extremely rare smiles and his even rarer words of encouragement.
[Story “Life and Death Companion” is muttering slowly.]
