Lumine is fierce with a sword, and even fiercer when she’s staring directly at you. (Even if she has to look up to do it.) It’s a little dull, without her around to spar with him. And Childe will admit that the occasional reminder of what a decent human being acts like doesn’t hurt, either.
Maybe he should tell her, next time. Say he needs lessons on how to be a good guy just to watch her eyebrows furrow and her face scrunch the way it does when she’s trying to be intimidating. In Childe’s opinion, it’s not all that effective, considering it makes him want to squish her cheeks more often than not.
Or: When Childe sees Lumine again, she's busy chasing a cat around the harbor.

Albedo blanched at this, his brows furrowing together as he shook his head. “That’s only half true, Miss Megistus,” he replied, and only then did he let his light blue eyes meet hers.
She was shocked, he knew that much, her cheeks turning pink as she stared at him. “And, if it’s alright, by what do you mean?” she mumbled, wriggling her wrist in his hold.
