It was just one of the homicides that he could specifically recall (that the authorities knew about) from his time in the Wesninski house.
The second time Neil testified, it was against Lola."

Lola didn't die, but that's a very small part of this. The court cases have a shit effect on Neil, and it all comes to a head.
