Summary
A bat can not fly on its own. No matter what that man may believe, a bat must always have its bird. He will lose himself to the dark if there is no bird to keep the light, and, while these birds are creatures of light, they follow the bat in his crusade in the darkest hours of the night. No matter how dire the situation may become, the bat and the birds will always be there to battle against the monsters that emerge from the shadows. Alternatively, the birds must also have their bat. They cannot truly have the ability to fly without the bat to keep them safe. The bat is their safety net, always there to catch them when they fall. Of course, as with all things, a question arises: what happens when there is no bat to keep them alive?
