Summary

Across the years, their friendship blooms — laughter, wisdom, and quiet companionship forging a bond she never expected or wanted. But when time begins to take him from her, the Sphinx must grapple with loss, grief, and the meaning of a finite life.

If I come across the post again, I will update with the username. I really just wanted to write the story because it was such a great idea and it stuck with me.
