Cats are weird beings.
Sometimes I sit on the rough cold pavement and just stare at nothing, thinking about everything. Cats are always there for some reason, no food in the place they are but they somehow always end up there. Some of them ignore me, pass by me like I'm one of those trashcans I'm actually sitting by. But some of them approach me, those desperate small ones. The warmth when a cat nuzzles their boney head into your hand or circles around your leg always fills my chest with something like hope.
I've always wondered why were they doing that.
Why does one cling to another if the other doesn't provide?
