Kenshi again realized that his tear glands were intact, even if his eyes were gouged out, when the dying and bleeding frame of Johnny Cage lay heavily, yet lightly, in his arms. He clutched the Sento as if he were trying to get a grip on Johnny’s feeble breath, tears streaming down with dust and blood on his cheeks. Hands shaking, for the very first time in his life, he regretted losing his sight.
