So what would happen if Bethany held onto Alex's hand as Nigel sent him back to 1996? How would they cope with actually seeing each other through their own eyes and then being ripped away? I don't know why I torture myself with sad stuff, but here you go.

Summary
Because of Alex, Bethany discovered a new style of music...a style of music she only ever associated with her dad. Now, she was into Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, even Nirvana, Chevelle, and emo rock. But looking through her father's CDs (because seriously who uses CDs anymore?!) she found a local band called Fanblade. A CD that had Alex Vreeke credited as a songwriter. It didn't take a curvy genius to figure out which one it was. After all, who else would write their #1 hit, "Bethany", but the metalhead himself?
TW: I AM NOT A SONGWRITER...SORRY IF IT SUCKS. The song, not the story! Though sorry if the story sucks, too. Enjoy!
