Summary
Kaz and Inej met their freshman year of college.
The more she hangs out with them, the more he learns. She’s a gymnast and is going to Ketterdam University on a scholarship. She’s studying to be a social worker, and she’s going to be working at the coffee shop with Wylan. She’s quiet and doesn’t ask Kaz a bunch of questions like the others Nina’s tried to bring into their group.
Kaz thinks he might like hanging out with her.

Summary
After a long moment, Kaz exhaled and leant back in his chair.
"I can have him dead by tonight," He said, “If you don’t mind the Van Eck household getting involved.”
Inej stared at him.
“That's it? You’ll help?” She asked dubiously.
Kaz frowned.
“Would I have bothered to listen if I wasn’t going to?”
"No 'what's in it for me'? What happened to never something for nothing?”
"Well, it’s lucky for you that there's already something in it for me, isn’t it?"---
Inej needs a powerful man dead. Kaz, busy conducting 'renovations' across the West Stave and feuding with famous stage actors, is glad to have the opportunity to eliminate a threat.
