   Summary

   Ash snaps his eyes open and feels himself floating in a strange place. He spots PIkachu in a similar position just feet away.
   Everywhere around them was black, but not the type of black where it was dark. More empty. Illuminated yet empty.
   How'd he even get here? He was asleep just minutes ago. He looks down at his clothes to find that he is still wearing his pajamas. His yellow PIkachu shirt was in quite a contrast to the bleak all around them.
   Then there was light.
