Summary
--- Inspired by the "candy' of Gong Jun's birthday vacation to Yunnan.
The events of "one and half a year ago" had not only changed Zhang Zhehan's life to the extreme, but also his relationship with Gong Jun. They could no longer meet as often as they wanted, they could no longer be as free as they were in the past. Gone were those unrestrained, happy days and it was as if they were now living in two completely different worlds, yet at the same time bound with an unseen chain that limited their every movement.
Even so, although the battle they were fighting in at the moment had yet to show the bright end of the road, Zhang Zhehan had resolved himself to never give up.
Therefore, on his beloved's special day, he wanted to at least leave the two of them with a good memory to remember in this brief time they had together.

Gong Jun joined in with some reluctance.
Gong Jun shook his head. “No way, I’m not meeting someone by way of mandarin oranges. What if an asshole picked up my mandarin?”
“What if an asshole picked you up at a club? That’s not stopped you before,” Daidai said with a shrug.
“That’s different. Then at least I would know if he was a hot asshole or not.”

"It’s ten am on a Saturday, and Gong Jun should be at home right now, relaxing on a rare weekend off. Instead he’s at the weekly city market, doing his best to avoid getting bumped into by the crowd. Meilian - the reason he’s here - skips alongside him. He’s always helpless to deny his daughter anything, and she’d been asking to go for weeks after one of her friends rhapsodized for days about the real live goats that they let you pet. Now they’re here. It’s not quite what he’d expected, he’ll admit. He was picturing a few food stalls, some local artisans, maybe some actual produce. Instead it feels like a small fair. There’s more than a hundred local vendors, as well as a stage for live musicians and an entire kids’ area with a full petting zoo and a few small rides."
Gong Jun finds more at the city market than overpriced brunch!
