Summary
The supers are all pretty down to earth, actually. Their first meeting went well. He had fought beside a few of them, on the occasion where an extra terrestrial threat came to Gotham and he was able to help them. He liked them all well enough.
Except.
Except. The stupid blond hair, which shone in the sunlight. The blue eyes that were somehow brighter than the sky and deeper than the ocean. He was perfect, and he seemed to know that.

When he went to Gotham to help with a shapeshifting alien who disguised herself as a regular Gothamite to escape detection, he approached the Beyora.

The Force loves Obi-Wan Kenobi. Though perhaps a little too much, if the amount of visions he receives is any indication.
Mace Windu is drawn to Obi-Wan Kenobi. Whether it may be the Force, or the sheer amount of shatter points surrounding him, or even just his tired blue eyes. He can’t help it.
When Obi-Wan’s visions get too bad for his crechemaster to properly care for him and the rest of his clan, Mace makes a decision.
Obi-Wan Kenobi shall be his padawan.

Summary
Friends make friends stuff all the time, and Jayce did break Viktor's cane. It'd be a nice thing to do. A cane, plus some cool tools, and Jayce will be able to know he's a good friend. He likes this plan.

Summary
Mace Windu was many things, but a morning person was not one of them. Nevertheless, the Force had deemed the ass-end of dawn to be an appropriate time to drag him out of bed and into the gardens. Not that he didn’t enjoy the scenery, but after returning from a grueling diplomatic endeavour-turned hostage negotiation not even three hours ago, he’d rather enjoy the pitch-black setting of his room.
Still, he was a Jedi and, as such, Mace’s duty would always be to follow the will of the Force. Today, it decided to lead him towards the forested areas where two younglings were huddled together at the base of a large tree, sleeping.
Mace tended not to spend a lot of time in the creche, but he recognized the Kiffar child as his friend Tholme's unconventional Padawan. Quinlan Vos, he believed his name was. The other boy was a scrawny redhead with deeper bags under his eyes than most grown adults and the Force drew his attention to this boy in particular.
(In which Knight Windu meets five-year-old Kenobi and six-year-old Vos and, while some things stay the same, everything changes.)
