‘I want to open it,’ Hermione thought nearly opening the book before stopping herself. “You cheeky book.” She tapped its cover. “Compulsion? Really?” Rolling her eyes at how stupid whatever magic the book had upon it was, she put it away in her school things and began sorting through ways of blocking magic. The new project had her eager and before long, she’d forgotten her boredom. Whatever the book was, it wasn’t common and it could influence the minds of those nearby.
‘I’ll get to the bottom of you.’ Hermione thought giving the book a grin.

Tom didn’t know what this future world held in store for him. There were far too many unknowns and the girl herself, while not a threat directly, could certainly hand him over to someone who was. Excitement flowed through the soul fragment at the idea of a new high stakes game. The player was a child, but a genius, perhaps even one on his level.

“Don’t tell me you’re a virgin,” he scoffed.
Rey swallowed, unconsciously taking a step back towards the hall. She didn’t want to admit that he had called her out so quickly--but when he had asked, told, demanded that she model for him, she hadn’t agreed to be naked. Her cheeks flushed with shame.
He sighed loudly, making a point of how inconvenient she was making this for him.
“I don’t care if you’ve been fucked or not,” he said, stalking back to where she stood in the doorway, skittish and on the verge of scurrying back down the stairs.
“Just don’t be such a baby about it,” he continued in a grumble, tugging her into the room by the hem of her shirt, stretching out the material.
As if knowing she wouldn’t take it off herself, Ben lifted it over her head, tossing it carelessly aside. He then nudged her in the direction of the chaise, smacking her backside as she stumbled a step forward.
“Take off the rest and get comfortable. I’ll arrange you when I’m ready.”
