Summary
Pandora Transaction Rules
1. The discoverer of Pandora becomes its owner.
2. A transaction ends only after immortality is accepted or rejected.
3. The owner is protected from fatal danger during the contract.
4. Additional contracts require agreement from both sides.
5. Higher rules override conflicting ones.
To change the past, Conan Edogawa and Kaito Kuroba made a forbidden contract with Pandora Gem to return to the time before Tropical Land and save Toichi Kuroba from the theater fire.
But Pandora demanded a price. Instead of taking their lives, Pandora tied Conan and Kaito together as “partners of fate.”
Both of them rejected this outcome immediately. Conan still loved Ran Mouri, while Kaito wanted to remain with Aoko Nakamori. Determined to fight fate, they avoided each other and tried to continue their lives normally but every attempt only made reality more unstable and forced them closer together.
In the end, they uncovered the truth: Pandora had manipulated everything from the start. By exploiting the contract, Pandora sought not immortality, but a true human existence and freedom from its prison as a cursed jewel.

This arc:
“Warriors, greet your opponent,” the referee ordered.
Saguru bowed to Heiji as the other did the same.
“Good luck,” Heiji said when they straightened.
“To you as well,” Saguru replied politely.
“May the best swordsman win.”
Saguru blinked at that, opened his mouth to release a comment he didn’t have —but the referee was already motioning them to their starting positions.
As Saguru walked the few short paces to his place, there was only time for one thought in his head.
Heiji knew this was a Bonding Match, not an actual match, right?
When Saguru turned to face Heiji and saw the same dark look he’d seen earlier, he realized he might have made a slight miscalculation.

As the chains were draped around him at certain points the thick bracelets clapped around his wrists. They very clearly were made to be pulled on. He looked down at the clear interlocking mechanism on both of the wrist bands. A collar clicked shut around his neck and he could no longer delude himself.
Shinichi glared at Hakuba, “The next time you assure me that you're not trying to make me uncomfortable then put me in BDSM gear I'm going to kick you.”
