It has been years since the truth was told, and Sunny kept his promise to stay by Basil's side. Everything seemed to click back into place. Never been happier than when they were together... This is until Aubrey started to forgive Sunny for the accident, the only problem was she didn't forgive Basil, and that hurt him horribly. Basil tried his best to be understanding, but there was no helping the feeling of loss that creeped up on him whenever he would see Aubrey and Sunny together. He tried his best to be supportive. Refusing to let his abandonment issues show, since the last time he did, it almost ended in tragedy. But Basil still felt the crushing distance between him and Sunny that was slowly becoming harder and harder to ignore. Basil so desperately needed to know if Sunny was still his best friend. Needed to know if Sunny reciprocated his feelings.
