   Summary

   Narinder had once loved his siblings and yet they had betrayed him, had chained him, had abandoned him. Then he had put his faith in the Lamb, believing they would free him at last, and again he was betrayed. Perhaps these were just the consequences of his own actions, but even so, now he is enslaved, made mortal, and he must find a way to live when all he has ever known is death.
