“You're my Dad, right?” Luffy asked, words heavy with desperation. He took a step forward, unsure of what it entailed.
“Yes.” Dragon swallowed hard, voice caught in his throat. “I am, Luffy."
He could have just lied, forget this whole thing had transpired, and let the wind take him back to the army he had created, the one he chose over the son he had currently standing right in front of him.
But to deny that he is Luffy's father is like killing himself in the process.
Or, Dragon takes back his son, but gains three in the process.

Summary
After his life and everyone he knows have been taken from him, Luffy finds himself at the mercy of Blackbeard, the rogue lord who obtains castles through darkness and bloodshed. Blackbeard and his band of men take over his home. One of those men is a mercenary named Zoro who does not take sides, but he has sympathy for Luffy and all that he suffers.
Zoro takes a special interest in Luffy and strives to make the young man whole again after the assault he's faced. Zoro may even begin to harbor feelings for Luffy, but they are both at the mercy and whim of Blackbeard.
Can the two of them find solace in each other and escape? Or will they be forced to continue living under the yoke of a powerful, dangerous, and fearsome villain?
