Summary
When one of Albedo's experiments goes wrong, Captain Kaeya loses the ability to lie. Which would be fine, had it not been for the fact that the Cavalry Captain's only true safety net was the intricate web of lies he'd weaved for himself over the years.
Inevitably, things start to unravel far faster than Kaeya would have liked, which, added onto other additional side effects, means that he is in for one hell of a week.

Summary

"Are…are you real?" His voice is so faint and unsteady it breaks Diluc's heart all over again. Kaeya looks so young like this. Staring up at him with a look of fragile hope. He looks like the little brother Diluc remembers so fondly.
"Yes, Kae. Yes, I'm real. I'm here. It's ok."

When Kaeya gets kidnapped by the Fatui, Diluc is forced to acknowledge how much he still cares for his estranged brother. Small steps towards reconciliation are made.
