Summary
En un mundo, Kim Dokja escuchaba a su madre y volvía a leer. Devoraba las mismas palabras una y otra vez hasta que se incrustaban en sus retinas, hasta que las historias se hacían un hogar en su cerebro y se quedaban allí. Consumía libros como si fueran su salvavidas y le dieran la motivación para vivir un día más, hasta que encontrara algo más por lo que mereciera la pena vivir.
En ese mundo, Kim Dokja encontró una familia a la que amaba y que le correspondía, pero sólo después de años de sufrimiento y angustia y de constantes sacrificios que él siempre se alegraba de hacer. En ese mundo, Kim Dokja pudo haber sido hijo único, pero encontró a su familia y fue, ante todo, un lector.
Pero éste no es ese mundo.
En el que Kim Dokja aprende a odiar la lectura, pero aun así se las arregla para encontrar a su protagonista.

Summary
Shen Qingqiu had a plan for when her vampiric disciple reappeared. When Luo Binghe showed up, eager to rip her throat out, she'd do whatever she could to make some distance, even if that meant fleeing the country. Even if it meant hurting her dear disciple again.
She hadn't accounted for how pitiful Luo Binghe would look, how hungry she clearly was. Her situation was dangerous, yes, but she could change her plans, couldn't she? If she left her poor disciple to starve, wouldn't that make her the monster?
Before she could second guess herself, she reached down and gathered Luo Binghe’s unconscious body in her arms. She briefly counted her blessings that she had transmigrated into a body with a strong core, and then she took off in the direction of home.
