A scandal is something that will cause a general public outrage. The Prince of Wales is constantly called by many names, the magnificent bane, the glittery heart of England, the jewel to the crown. In his 32-year-old life, he had been called many things including scandalous. But the news had never been this malicious. He woke up the day before yesterday, to what the news agencies are calling ‘The great royal scandal’.
He is told to wait and stay put till FAEs arrive with a strategic plan.
Magnus retires to his chambers and waits and waits and waits.
His phone pings with a message. It only says,
“We have all a better guide in ourselves, if we would attend to it, than any other person can be.”
Oh, his lovely Alexander. It's a quote he is very familiar with, from Jane Austen, Mansfield Park.

Next day morning, Magnus wakes up to the loud ringing of his mobile. He takes his time to answer because it's impossible to take his eyes off the vision that is Alexander, there are bright purple marks adorning his neck, and the silver bracelet on his left wrist, the exclusive claims of Magnus Bane, hopefully he will be Alexander Lightwood Bane in the near future. Magnus can't wait. His thoughts are running wild as they always do when he is near his love. He presses a gentle kiss to the porcelain skin of his Greek god’s shoulder and answers the phone.
“Magnus Bane! Why the hell did you do that?” Lorenzo screams.
“Be quiet, baby is sleeping”
“Be quiet! Are you insane? Do you have a single brain cell left? If you did, why the hell did you drag the heir to the Trueblood empire through the main entrance? People say you kidnapped him. It’s all over the news.”
The what empire now?
Magnus hangs up and opens twitter.
The first post that pops up says, ‘Prince of Spain kidnaps the newly appointed deputy director of Trueblood cooperation' and a blurry picture of him at the Red carpet is tagged under.
