Summary
Unlike in the original story, GingerBrave and his team fail to reach Truthless Recluse's room in time. Black Sapphire catches them, and they never get the chance to speak with him. The rest of the story follows the original plot, except Truthless Recluse doesn't awakens because he never gets the chance to talk with his friends.

Pure Vanilla didn't recognize the stranger staring back at him in the mirror, it just didn't look right.
The eyes, the hair, the body, everything was just too different.
Despite having been in his awakened form for a while now, Pure Vanilla still hasn't found it easy getting used to his new image; maybe a certain someone can help turn things around and make the healer feel a little more at home in his new body.

Since leaving the Spire of Deceit, and consequently Shadow Milk Cookie, Pure Vanilla Cookie has been plagued with dreams of his time as Truthless Recluse.
More so like spicy dreams. Spicy Nightmares. Recurring snippets of his other half loving him, if it can even be called so.
Pure Vanilla yearns. Achingly so. And when one particular nightmare breaks him, he seeks out his other half, desperate and aching.
