Summary
The Underground, despite being so self-contained, was incredibly easy to lose yourself in. Oftentimes monsters looking for a fresh start would simply move to a new area. It happened at least twice a year.
Undyne, as Captain of the Royal Guard, often found herself helping the new residents of Waterfall settle in. However, usually they came to her, instead of tracking them down. Usually, the monsters were adults or older teens.
This time, it was a runaway child. -
