It's been more years than I want to admit since I wrote fanfiction, but I've been slacking on my writing lately so I would like to give it another go, if only to keep myself in practice. I try to look over my works for mistakes before posting, but I don't use a beta and may miss a few things. I have a degree in English and delusions of grandeur, as do many writers. I would like to write professionally one day - so polite, constructive criticism is welcome.
I generally use fanfiction as a means to fill in the holes left by cannon - to explore the things that the source material did not, or could not, get to. I stick as closely to lore as I possibly can when fleshing out my personal headcannons.
