Kaeya stopped before yet another set of stairs, pointing his finger at a building now facing behind them, fatui agents guarding the doors, “Well lucky for you, fate has allowed the Goth Grand Hotel to be only a set of stairs away from the headquarters. Your commute should be a breeze!” He takes his extended finger and presses it against Childe’s chest, leaning in close, his voice turning into a hushed whisper as his breath brushes against the Harbinger’s ear. “We are all victims of fate. It’s how we push back against it that defines us.”
Kaeya leans back, his face lighting up as if he had just told Childe a juicy piece of gossip, “Surely a man with your prowess knows how to keep a set of strange and unfortunate circumstances outside the gates of Mondstadt.”
Maybe Childe was wrong to judge Mondstadt so early on. Perhaps he will enjoy his trip here.”
Or
Childe meets Kaeya, and both fall long and hard for each other. But they have to keep their relationship a secret.
