Summary
A week before the newest Extermination is full of dread and anticipation. Heaven has internal conflicts about redemption. Hell has popcorn ready for the fight.
Choices have been made. No one can go back. But Heaven is in for a bit of a shock when someone comes forward with information about a traitor in Heaven and the Treaty being broken.
Adam is willing to entertain her. If only the others would be less annoying. If there is a traitor he will gladly deal with them. If this baby bird is making it all up she better at least be entertaining.
Charlie is on a mission because she is determined to find out why an Ars Goetia attacked one of her friends. She and Vaggie are set on getting back what was stolen.

Summary
After Charlie and her friends' victory against the angelic army and Adam's death, the troubles are far from over. Over the course of two weeks after the battle ended, a new demon appeared in Hell. No one knows who he is, what he wants, or even his face: all that is known is that he goes around kidnapping overlords, killing anyone who gets between him and them, and that nothing and no one seems to be able to stop him because he possesses strength incomparable to any other sinner, so much that the media called him "Army of One". Charlie and her friends find themselves forced to look for this mysterious individual, in the hope of being able to stop him before he does serious damage to Pentagram City; but the reality is much more sinister than they imagine, and not only the future of their city could be at risk, but also the future of all of Hell... and maybe even more. I remember what I was doing the night before the world came to an end. I spent the night surfing the internet, trying to figure out what was going on, panicking and making myself sick. People said it wasn't connected, and they said we would be told what was going on. It was all a sweet little lie, words meant to keep me calm. But when the world came crashing down, I was forced to adapt. The world we knew is gone, and this new one is cruel. But I would make sure to do whatever it took, to ensure my family would make it out alive. Even if I had to become a monster to do it.
