As soon as Izuku entered the room, the boy’s head snapped up.
Izuku took a step back.
A face he saw every morning in the mirror stared back at him, eyes glittering with delight. The left one was red.
“Oh, hello.”This was a bad idea.
Or: Izuku finds out UA is holding a villain under lock and key. Specifically, they’re holding him, a version of him from an alternate universe in which he never became a hero, but something far darker. Curiosity gets the better of him. He ends up regretting it.

Summary
"Izuku has always been curious; he liked to know things. He liked to see how and why things happened; solving mental puzzles and the like. Growing up, Izuku loved to read mystery novels and play games with a detective aspect. His mother had made custom games for him as he grew up to work his mind more and let him solve things to his hearts content."
Izuku pieces together what no police station has in the hopes to save his friend from a doomed revenge plot before it was too late. Using skills he's honed over the year by solving cold cases and digging into public records; he makes it just in time to fight. Hopefully, they make it out of fight alive.

Izuku didn’t get one for all and didn’t get to meet/rescued by All might rather he became like an informant for the heroes and hack to their communicators to give instructions on the possible weaknesses of the villains they face.
