"What are you doing?” Eddie asks, and Buck sighs.
"You can just kiss me, get a taste of the lip balm, and tell me what flavour you think it is.”
Eddie can’t believe his ears.
"That is such a stupid way to win a bet, Buck."
“Oh so you concede?"
Eddie rolls his eyes, shaking his head before planting both hands on the sides of Buck's face and hauling him in to press their lips together.

Buck and Eddie make a bet on whether or not Eddie can guess all of Buck's lip balm flavours, and in order for Eddie to get a taste, they have to kiss.

Summary
At first it was just baby clothes. Lestat would randomly find them buried in their cart whenever he and Louis were shopping at the store. This started two weeks ago. The only plausible explanation, at least to Lestat, is that Louis is deliberately burying baby clothes in their groceries to make it appear like he’s trying to be discreet, but in reality Louis is obviously trying to send him some sort of message.

“You’re pregnant,” he says calmly. There, that was safe; they’re Louis’s own words, nothing wrong with repeating them back to him. He can’t be angry with his own choice of words.
“Yes,” Louis replies, and being hyper aware to all of his darling’s little ministrations leads Lestat to conclude that he’s getting frustrated. Already. Already?! It’s like he can’t do anything right! “That’s what I just said.”
“Congratulations,” he says again, trying to keep his tone neutral. “Who’s the father?”
