Summary
The beautiful, cranky Prince Bakugo is disillusioned with palace living, has no desire to be Emperor of the Kingdom of Yuei, and is sick to death of being courted by princess who are no more interested in marrying him as he is of marrying them. But is finding no one really cares what he has to say about the issue.
Meanwhile, Ochako is a street rat, trying to survive (mostly) on her own on the streets of Yuei with no family and no memory of where she comes from. Her deepest desire is to belong somewhere, to matter anywhere, that is until she falls into a pool of scowly red that is the eyes of Prince Bakugo (only...she doesn't know it's Prince Bakugo...).
In order to win the heart of the fair prince, Ochako finds herself caught up in a lie that she's not sure she can stay ahead of and in the clutches of the scheming royal advisor to the Emperor, Tenko Shimura. She knows a kingdom comes with the Prince, but she really just wanted to kiss a cute boy!
