“You okay, Cait?” Vi gave Caitlyn a concerned nudge as they walked.
“What? Oh yeah, I’m fine.” Caitlyn shrugged her off, but was rather unconvincing.
“You’ve been off all day- since last night, even.” Vi threw a nervous look her way. “You've hardly looked at me since dinner.” She tried to shake off her uncertainty and added with a chuckle, “You can tell me if I’ve pissed you off, you know.”
Vi's confusion lasted a second as she scrutinised Caitlyn, trying to read between the lines. As it dawned on her, her face broke out in a teasing grin. “Oh my God.” Vi exclaimed.
“You’re touch starved, aren’t you cupcake?” Vi gave an amused laugh and looked at Cait tauntingly.
