Summary

Summary
Cedric Diggory is a popular and well-liked student at Hogwarts, known throughout the school as the handsome and kind 'Golden Boy'. When he is paired up with Eloise De Lisle, an exchange student from Beauxbatons, as her buddy, he is excited to make a new friend. However, he soon discovers that the quarter-veela witch is not easy to befriend, despite her ethereal beauty. Her cold and distant demeanour leaves Cedric perplexed, and despite his attempts to befriend her, Eloise seems uninterested in getting to know him for reasons he can't comprehend.
As the days go by, Cedric becomes increasingly frustrated with Eloise's dismissive and cynical attitude towards him. He tries to understand her behaviour, but it is not easy juggling the Triwizard Tournament and being a helpful buddy to a brutally cold young lady who refuses to reciprocate his friendship.
As Cedric tries to unravel the mystery behind Eloise's odd temperament, he finds himself drawn to her. During the Christmas break, as they spend more time together, Cedric starts to see a different side of Eloise, one that is not so cold and, quite frankly, endearing.
