Sakura glanced quickly at Naruto. She wasn't stupid. She knew that if Naruto had presented as an Omega, Sasuke would have chosen him over anyone else without a second thought. That's why she felt so relieved when she found out that Naruto presented as a Beta. He wouldn't be of any use to Sasuke in achieving his goal. Only she remained. Sakura was the person closest to Sasuke after Naruto, which gave her a big advantage.

Hikaru blinked, the shock turning into a fake pout. “Stop what? Being nice to you? You’re so mean today, Yoshiki, seriously…” He wiggled, trying to get him off. He brushed against Yoshiki’s chest, sending a jolt down Yoshiki’s spine.
“This!” Yoshiki hissed, his face close to Hikaru’s. He could see the long lashes around his eyes that looked different now – not scared, but realizing something. “The talking, the touching, the… the way you hang all over me. You can’t do that! You can’t act like that and then pretend it’s nothing.”
