She looks up at Sophie and sighs, "So, um, I've wanted to talk to you about something." Sophie widens her eyes while caressing Ryan's legs with her left hand. "Uh-oh." Ryan giggles at the older woman's response. "It's nothing bad, I promise, and it's not really a talk. More like…a discussion."
Sophie places her right arm behind Ryan on the armrest. "Okay, what do you want to discuss?" Ryan smiles, "Well, I've been thinking about some stuff. Stuff about us and our own pasts." Sophie tries to read Ryan, unsure where she's going with this. "And I just wanted to know something." Sophie continues to look at Ryan, even though the younger woman is no longer looking at her but at her fingers. "What did you want to know?" Ryan starts fidgeting with said fingers, "When did you know?"

Ryan wants to talk about a certain topic that she's been thinking about lately.

Just as Sophie was about to lift Ryan's tank top to remove it, a voice interrupted her action. "Ahem." Sophie and Ryan froze. Lips still locked together. They separate and slowly look up and to the side to meet Luke and Mary standing beside each other. They both had a face like 'Really?' "Okay, we need to set some ground rules for the Batcave," Luke says as he runs his hand over face, under his glasses.

Ryan is on comms duty at the Batcave, Batwing is on patrol and Mary is at the clinic. Sophie brings dinner for everyone. Sophie and Ryan talk for a bit until they are doing something else other than talking. They suddenly get interrupted by their favorite third wheel.

Ryan looks back to Sophie’s eyes, the light of the sun shining on them. “It’s stupid, Soph. Like so stupid that you’ll laugh at me or get mad at me for thinking this.”
“I will never laugh or get mad at you for anything that’s going on in your head. Let me help you, Ry. Talk to me.” Sophie picks up her right hand and caresses Ryan’s left cheek. Ryan is on the verge of crying as she places a soft kiss on Sophie’s wrist.

Ryan wakes up to certain thoughts and feelings making her doubt if any of this is real. Her and Sophie talk it out. There's a surprised guest at the end of their talk.

Ryan turns in Sophie's hold so that now she faces her. She wraps her arms around Sophie's neck, and the grip around her back tightens.

Ryan caresses Sophie's left cheek with her right thumb. Ryan is completely and utterly captivated by her. "Oh, you know, the usual. Everything and nothing." Pushing a small smile on her lips.

Ryan is on the balcony of Wayne tower just before sunset thinking about her life and how she ended up where she is now. Sophie joins her and they talk about it.
