Summary
Sasuke isn’t willing to sell his soul for $7.25 an hour, and his threshold for bullshit is low. Still, losing seven jobs in two years is an ugly track record.
But if he can survive the summer scooping ice cream for bougie housewives and their brats, maybe he can earn a fresh start. There’s just one small issue: his pretty, pink-haired shift leader, Sakura. He meets the girl of his dreams, and she's way out of his league.

Summary
The flavor of coffee was bitter in his mouth, his hands felt too heavy, and his heart raced in his chest. Somehow, five years away trying to erase the gentle marks she left on his heart, Sasuke found himself across from her. “Sakura-”
“When you picture her, what does she look like?”
His eyes were squeezed shut, blocking out the sight of her messy pixie hair, her probing almond eyes. His lungs constricted, body fueled on nothing but espresso and insomnia. His fingers twitched, he knew what he should say, what societal expectations dictate he say after being with a different woman for three years. He opened a trembling mouth, intent on delivering the appropriate sentiment about a blonde with baby blue eyes.
But his brain was drowning in soft pink and radiation green that lanced through his defenses. That had always threatened the levee inside him. And without his permission, the damn broke, words flooding out of him like a natural disaster.
“She looks like you.”
He heard her breath catch, his eyes snapping open in time to witness her skin turn scarlet.
“Sasuke-”
A wet strangled noise escaped him, and before she could try to stop him, he was gone.

Summary
It’s like: he’s not that great at knowing people, other than the ones he came with built-in, and he’s especially not good at it when it comes to knowing them outside of trying to be better than them, but Sakura and Naruto are here in his home anyway. They’ve made their way into his life anyway.
It’s a Tuesday afternoon, and she’s sticking out her tongue at him, and she’s going to do this entire stupid assignment, and she made him a ridiculous tomato-shaped Valentine once, and part of her hair is sticking out from how frequently she’s put her hand through it while thinking, and she’s still the only thing he’s ever really liked looking at.
Sasuke’s known Sakura for most of his life—had her memorised, down to the bone. So maybe this has just been a long time coming.

“Listen to me, Sakura, because I will not say this again,” he snarled, removing her hands from his face, “There is no scenario, no fucking universe, in which you call me, and I do not drop everything to come to you.”

Summary
Spoilers Up to 2x6.
Wedding days lasted forever for the bride, which really added a horror to it when she found herself always in between somewhere she should be waiting and another place she was due to be. Lizzy felt more normal in her robe and sweet stays. Until she was wearing white, she could blend in with the ladies of her bridal party. She was just another guest. She wasn’t marked for greatness or tragedy.
In white, sweeping down staircases or along hallways, she was too haunting. She was too veiled and dramatic. She was constantly on the way to somewhere - not hurrying but also not at her leisure. She was more of a symbol than a person. The bride, like the title of a play that was about a monster who ate children and skinned neighbourhood pets.
