As i am rereading the cursebreaker series, i noticed more details about kind Broderick and his “first marriage” in Syhl Shallow, and it got me thinking- was he going to be a great king next to his magesmith wife, or because Rhen’s grandfather killed all the magesmiths, did king broderick turn into the fearful king he is known to be?
