Summary
Quaritch is good at a lot of things. Fighting. Making allies. Any military operation, really. He’s also found himself in a situation recently where he is very good at dying, but not staying dead.
Even more recently he finds himself with a new development. After disappearing from the battle at the ancestors cove, Varang makes her grand reappearance to drop off something.
In their escapades the fire clan leader had convinced a child with Quaritch. A little girl, who despite being half Na’vi and half Avatar, had been born pale, small, tailless, and without a neural braid. By all means, she looked entirely human.
Years later, rescued by Spider, the little girl is one of the Sullies. She is adored by her family and has found her own place in their band of misfits. However, that doesn’t mean the rest of the clan have accepted her or her parentage.

Summary
Ash Lynx as we know him is still stuck in the worst place he could ever find himself. Dino has the boy wrapped around his finger with no ways out. One day Dino tells Ash he needs to Infiltrate a local school and seduce a teacher there to get information on an old business partner they mutually know.
Things get complicated, however, when a foreign exchange student starts trying to get closer to the young Lynx. And Ash only wishes it could have happened under different circumstances.

He couldn’t have known what he was saying. Well he knew, but he had no idea what it meant.
On the outside it was so simple to return to the status quo, and simply rewrite the lines where they had become blurred and smudged and crooked. It would be perfect and to him that was perfect. But he hadn’t experienced what Crowley had.
He could have watched him the moment he fell and seen every moment of it, but he could convince himself it wasn’t as bad as it was. Maybe he saw incorrectly or maybe his brain revisited the memory so many times it had been rewritten too.
But Crowley remembered.

The morning after normally implies pleasure. It’s a term that brings red to the faces of the bold and makes lovers bask in a heated memory.
For the abused, if the coined phrase is spoken, it’s with shame. It sounds different to the ear and rolls off the tongue with chokes and sobs. Every word is separate making it into an entity all it’s own.
When Ash used it, it was to describe one of two things: the times he’d awake after demons danced across his pale form, and the first lit hours after the escape from Golzine’s mansion..
