Summary
Dorian Pavus doesn't know what to expect when some of the survivors of Clan Lavellan are found. Some of the Inner Circle hope it will soften the anger that burns like coals in their Inquisitor. Others hope it will give her much needed hope in the battle against Corypheus and his armies of Venatori and corrupted Templars. What he most certainly doesn't expect is the charming rogue who doesn't seem to quite belong with the rest of his clan. Elian is a seemingly unfamiliar face who knows things about Dorian that catch him off guard.
In the midst of a war that threatens the very truths of the world he knows, Dorian finds himself at the mercies of his own emotions when it comes to the two men he has thrown his lot in with. He finally has a chance at the relationships he craved in his past, but as secrets, past wounds, and the impending destruction of the world test Dorian's morals, Dorian finds himself faced with the decision of what is more important to him: what he wants for his country and what he wants for himself.
