Summary

Ensign Kirk has no issue getting into trouble. He would throw himself in front of a bullet for any one of his friends, he would do anything to protect them. But Starfleet isn't always looking for compassion. Sometimes, an officer has to make a sacrifice for the greater good. It's only logical.
